Dr. Carrie Robbins grew up in Denver, CO and earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Minnesota. She also holds an undergraduate degree in music performance (French horn) and conservation biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Dr. Robbins completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine at Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital in Colorado, followed by a surgical internship at Ocean State Veterinary Specialists in Rhode Island. She then worked as an emergency veterinarian and surgeon prior to joining the team at Acoaxet Veterinary Clinic in October 2018. Her interests include soft-tissue surgery, emergency medicine, wound management and sports medicine. Dr. Robbins enjoys hiking in the White Mountains with her black lab Blue and hopes to someday climb all of the 4000 foot peaks in New England.
