Dr. Penney received her bachelor's degree from Brown University in Latin American and Caribbean Studies before deciding to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. Dr. Penney qualified as a veterinary surgeon from University College Dublin in Ireland and worked as a veterinarian in Ireland before deciding to move back home to Southcoast Massachusetts. Dr. Penney enjoys internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, and especially loves working with senior pets!  When not at work, she can be found riding at the barn and is never without her beloved Border Terrier, Marzipan.
